The center's purpose is to encourage genuine personal inquiry into the relationship between mind, body and spirit, using the wide range of tools which yoga offers. Incorporating the teachings of yoga into our daily lives not only brings strength and flexibility to the body and clarity to the mind, but it also nourishes our inner dimension and encourages the practice of peace, authenticity and generosity.
DYC courses offer a rich mixture of yoga, yoga philosophy, integrative healing and meditation. By bringing together the finest local and international teachers from a broad range of traditions and lineages, DYC provides students the opportunity to choose from over 60 yoga classes per week, ranging from beginners to advanced. In addition, DYC regularly conducts weekend workshops that cover the full spectrum of yoga topics, including the basics of yogic thought and practices as well as in-depth studies of teachings and writings.
