You will be immersed in one of the most comprehensive Certified Yoga Teacher Trainings in the world. After completion, each student will be certified to apply for the Yoga Alliance RYT at the 200hr level.

The method of our Teacher Training is multi style which concentrates on a creative fusion of Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar poses woven together by a unique blend of vinyasa flow that is accessible to all levels and abilities.

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for teaching yoga skilfully with compassion and awareness.


The program combines a perfect balance including; asana knowledge and practise, yoga philosophy and history, extensive anatomy and physiology, pranayama, bandhas and mudras, teaching methodology and practise, meditation,kriyas, chanting, asana names in sanskrit, ayurvedic medicine, ethics of yoga teacher and much more.

Santosha Yoga Teacher Training modules explore the skills required for the design and teaching of Yoga in a range of settings from large groups in a studio or health club to private classes. The focus is on the ability to apply and understand these skills, especially for the selection of appropriate practices for different class levels, from novice to the more experienced. The Training is designed to create the student to be aconfident, compassionate and effective Yoga Teacher in a supportive, accepting environment in which the student can begin to connect within to find their own internal wisdom and authentic voice. Other areas in the Teacher Training include marketing skills, first aid as it applies to the yoga classroom, occupational health and safety, as well as the business aspects of managing a professional yoga school or yoga business. All who attend will leave with a smile on their face, a warm heart and priceless knowledge!

10. Santosha prefers quality over quantity thus we keep our class sizes to an average of 18 with a maximum of 26 students with E-RYT teacher(s) present at all times. (This policy would only change under extenuating circumstances).

11. For our Japanese students we provide a translator during class at all times.

12. We organise fantastic beach front accommodation for out students at a discounted rate.

13. We provide an opportunity for Graduates to work at other Santosha retreats or Teacher Trainings

14. Santosha organises and liaises with other companies that are providing yoga courses which can, when completed by a graduate, fulfil requirements for further education for Yoga Alliance.

15. All graduates receive post graduation support through newsletters. We are always only an email away for questions and answers!
