Sunday 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tai Chi
  Tai Chi, sometimes described as "meditation in motion", promotes serenity through gentle movements that connect the mind and body. Originally developed in ancient China for self-
defense, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction, balance, coordination and improving overall feelings of well-being. No experience needed.
60 minutes.
  11:30 am - 12:45 pm Mixed Level Yoga
  Allow us to guided you into the present moment...Poses are held with Ujjayi breath, gentle focus and guided alignment.
This class desires some experience. We offer modifications for those wishing to expand and deepen their practice in asana.
  1:00 pm - 1:50 pm Baby & Me! (4-Week Sessions)

Baby & Me focuses on strengthening the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent & child.Week one: Bonding, Week 2: Postnatal Week 3: Baby Yoga! Week 4: Putting it All together. This series'
intent is to provide you with integrative tools to be able to do this right in your own home!
 
Monday 7:00 am - 7:30 am Morning Meditation
  Pre-Register for your Morning Meditation. Allow Sandy to guide you to a place deep within ourselves. Some classes are themed, some are personalized. Please email or call to pre-register.
  9:00 am - 10:00 am Therapeutic & Sitting Yoga
  These classes are appropriate for those with MS, Parkinson's, Fibro, cancer recoverers & other conditions.Open to students who use walkers, canes, & wheelchairs. These classes include yoga poses for the body, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Most of the class is done seated in a chair. For those who are able, some
standing (with support) and floor movements may be given. We are limited to 8 chairs
and these classes fill very quickly. Please register ahead of time.
  5:00 pm - 6:15 pm Gentle Yoga/Prental Friendly.
  Gentle......we use props and listen to our bodies. This class is appropriate for those new to Yoga and those looking to take it gentle....
  6:30 pm - 7:45 pm Mixed Level Yoga

  7:50 pm - 8:50 pm Curvy girl and Big Guy Yoga!
  These yoga classes are offered specifically with the round body in mind. Not only will you have the opportunity to explore yoga in a way that suits your constitution/anatomy
best, you will also be able to practice and explore in a comfortable, small group environment with pleasant surroundings.
An opportunity to come and begin from where you are, to move your body and quiet your mind in a comfortable, supportive environment

  7:00 pm - 8:15 pm Gentle Yoga - Iyengar
  Gentle Yoga with Amita! Gentle Yoga is an ideal class for active seniors and students that prefer a class with a relaxed pace. Gentle Yoga is a powerful antidote to being "stressed out," weakened or fatigued. Allowing the body to be supported in different Yoga poses, both active and restorative postures, with conscious breathing brings balance in one’s energy and a clear calmness to one’s mind.
 
Wednesday 5:45 am - 6:45 am Morning Yoga
  Start the day our right and carry the peace and bodily freedom with you throughout your day.
This class is mixed level and open to those of all levels.
We will begin with breath-work, stretches, asana, Yin stretches and anchored with Savasana...and u will be all set for the day!
  11:00 am - 4:15 pm Private and Semi-Private Sessions
  Available by appointment for students who are new to yoga & are looking for a one on one introduction to the practice,
returning to yoga after illness or injury and need special attention (Prenatal, Depression, Anxiety, Arthritis, etc) or
*looking to deepen their practice and explore more advanced postures and concepts.
(fees depend on class type/number of students/length of session..please inquire for fee schedule.)
  5:15 pm - 6:30 pm Gentle (prenatal friendly)
  A nurturing class designed to achieve gradual but deep physical and mental release, healing and opening. A very Gentle approach to Yoga and structured for the expecting Mom as well! Gain flexibility, focus, strength, and awareness. It is a time for connecting, nurturing and slowing down. These are not just basic stretches,their intention is to detoxify and nourish the body's organs. No experience necessary.
  6:45 pm - 8:00 pm Gentle Yoga (prenatal friendly)
  A nurturing class designed to achieve gradual but deep physical and mental release, healing and opening. A very Gentle approach to Yoga and structured for the expecting Mom as well!   3:45 pm - 5:00 pm Yin Yoga
  Poses are held longer, giving time for the body’s deep,dense tissue to soften and release. Yet it also benefits long-term Yoga practitioners for the same reasons, complimenting active practice and providing opportunities to explore the mind’s
responses to the challenge of staying with the sensation of a long-held pose. Yin Yoga is highly beneficial for the body’s connective tissue, including the joints and ligaments.
  7:30 pm - 8:45 pm YogaMelt
  (by permission of the instructor)
Student will have at least 2 months regular practice in Interdisciplinary Yoga at Grounded By Yoga. More challenging postures will be offered with the main focus on experiencing stillness in
postures held for greater lengths. Instructor will be assisting (when needed) at a more greater depth to help advance and deepen your practice. This class will be held in a higher
temperature room of 92 degrees.
 
Friday 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Principle Based Partner Yoga
  To experience union, we relax into the present
moment and our individual presence. From this primary connection with ourselves, we realize our essential sameness and unity with others. Pre-Enrollment required as we limit this to 10 couples and is an 11-week series ($350 per couple) based on 11 principles. We often times shift this class to outside venues (lakeside cottage, hill top view...etc).
We anchor this program with an expense paid "outing" and share in our 11 week experience

  6:15 pm - 7:30 pm Mixed Level Yoga
  Asana variations will be offered throughout the class. Student will have the option to explore deeper asanas.
Focuses on a wide variety of postures from gentle tointermediate. This class helps students to develop breath awareness and control while exploring at a moderate pace and optional
depth. Each class will focus on a different posture or series of postures to help further and explain one's yoga practice.
  7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Stretch and Restore (Prenatal Friendly)
  Injured? Recovering from a surgery? Over stressed? Pregnant? or just want to take it very easy? Then join us in this informal gathering of stretching and restoring.
VERY gentle, often anchored with some guided meditation. We let the class unfold as it needs to.
NO EXPERIENCE IN ANYTHING NEEDED....just come as you are.
 
Saturday 10:00 am - 10:50 am Childrens Joyful Movement & Mindfulness
  Mindfulness fosters inner calm, increased awareness, and a sense of well-being. Now mindfulness is being introduced in schools and in youth-based programs around the world.
Research shows that mindfulness decreases stress, attention deficit issues, depression, anxiety, and hostility in children, while benefiting their health, well-being, social relations, and
academic performance. Children can easily learn these techniques, and when learned young, they become lifelong tools.
  12:15 pm - 1:45 pm YogaMelt (Returning in September)
