planetyoga.ca teaches hatha yoga in the tradition of living yoga masters B.K.S. Iyengar, Geeta S. Iyengar and Prashant S. Iyengar at various locations in Montreal.
As well as teaching yoga we also have an online yoga prop store located at http://www.progressiveyoga.com. We provide quality yoga props for discerning yoga practioners as well as some hard to find yoga books, mostly from India. Tim Ruddy Principal and Director of planetyoga.ca has been practicing Iyengar yoga since 1990 and teaching Iyengar yoga since 1996. He took his 2 year yoga teacher training in San Francisco, California at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco (IYISF) and was certified by the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS). Tim now resides and teaches Iyengar yoga in Montreal and also teaches workshops in India in January and February on ocassion.
Having studied extensively asana, pranayama, Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, anatomy, & physiology, Tim teaches from the foundation with precise instructions delivering the authenticity of Iyengar yoga.
