Harmony Yoga Pilates Studio is located in S.W. Calgary, offering classes for all ages (preschool to adult)and for all levels (beginner to advanced). A variety of classes are offered (Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Mantra Yoga, Prenatal,Postnatal Yoga and Pilates/Yoga Fusion classes. Harmony also offers RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training and RYT500 Yoga Therapy Teacher Training registered with Yoga Alliance. Programs are offered as intensives in the summer. Specialty classes and workshops are also offered.

Helen Mikuska Helen is certified yoga teacher with SOYA (South Okanagan Yoga Academy), E-RYT500 (Yoga Alliance) and IYTA (International Yoga Teachers' Association). She has been trained with Stotts' Pilates and has been teaching fitness for 30 years.
Class Schedules
Monday 11:45 am - 1:00 pm Hatha Healthy Backs
  For students with current or previous back issues who wish to learn postures to alleviate pain, increase flexibility, core and strength.
  6:15 pm - 7:30 pm Hatha Beginner
  Instructed in a gentle, supportive manner. Learn to link the breath with movement and increase flexibility, strength and balance. You will learn to relax, rejuvenate and experience yourself in a new way.
  7:45 pm - 9:15 pm Hatha Mixed
  A well-balanced class open to all levels of students from beginners to those with more experience. Asana including inversions, core strengtheners, pranayamas and yoga nidra.
 
Tuesday 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm Hatha Gentle
  For beginners or those who want a gentler yoga class. Work with movement, breath and relaxation in a gentle, therapeutic way.
  7:30 pm - 9:30 pm Hatha Mixed Meditation Mantra
  Hatha Mixed Class but for those wishing to experience the spiritual side of yoga with more pranayamas, chanting, meditation, mantra and mudras to achieve the bliss of yoga.
 
Wednesday 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm Pilates/Relax
  Build core, strength and stamina with an emphasis on breath and body awareness with the use of props and an added relaxation component.
  7:30 pm - 8:45 pm Hatha Beginner
  Instructed in a gentle, supportive manner. Learn to link the breath with movement and increase flexibility, strength and balance. You will learn to relax, rejuvenate and experience yourself in a new way.
 
Thursday 9:00 am - 10:30 am Pilates/Yoga Fusion
  Combined class of mat pilates and yoga (build core strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and rejuvenate your body/mind).
  8:00 pm - 9:15 pm Hatha Established
  Class geared towards continuing students who have a solid foundation in yoga. Includes asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra to deepen the experience of your yoga practice.
  12:30 pm - 1:45 pm Hatha Quiet Yin
  Hatha postures are held for several minutes to relax the muscles and gently stretch the connective tissue that form your joints.
 
Friday 9:30 am - 10:45 am Hatha Mixed
  A well-balanced class open to all levels of students from beginners to those with more experience. Asana including inversions, core strengtheners, pranayamas and yoga nidra.
 
Saturday 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Pilates/Yoga Fusion
  Combined class of mat pilates and yoga (build core strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and rejuvenate your body/mind).
  2:15 pm - 3:15 pm Postnatal Yoga
  Goal is to help restore body back to its'original strength and tone. Babies not yet walking are welcome to attend with you.
  12:45 pm - 2:00 pm Prenatal Yoga
  A beginning yoga class for pregnant women, who want to increase body and breath awareness, in preparation for childbirth.
