Iyengar yoga focuses on asana (poses) to increase stamina, strength and balance. Iyengar uses props, belts, blocks etc when necessary, to teach the body the correct action and alignment of the poses. The training of an Iyengar teacher is intense and indepth with an ongoing commitment to learning.
