Foundation Course
[for all level Students] is a special combination of the Beginners, Intermediate and Yoga Therapy. The Class is given based on individual requirements . Click here to view program
BEGINNERS COURSES: Conducted for people who are new to YOGA, young or old, people who feel rigidity in their bodies, or anybody who feel stressed and health related problems can consider take this basic course. The practice include: pranayama, stretching, Surya Namaskara-I, basic asanas, Yogic-practice, relaxation techniques and more.
Entries to this course are limited.
INTERMEDIATE COURSES:The class is designed for people who have been practicing yoga for some time. In this class students will be taught to hold in asanas for a longer period while performing intermediate asanas.
THERAPY COURSES: The course is based on the pancha kosha sidanta. It is designed to target health issues such as stress related problems, weight reduction, Asthma, Back-pain, knee pain, blood pressure, diabetes, menstrual problems, head-aches, constipation, spondlites, migraines and indigestion. This course can also help those who are already in good health but would like to take an extra milestone by taking a preventive measure to optimal health for a fit and slim body. The therapy is being done through yogic practices such as breathing, yoga kriyas, asanas, pranayama, and Dhayana.
Advanced Course
(For Intermediate and Advanced Students) to apply this Course students experience in the postures is necessary. For Ashtanga Vinyasa Students who are finding difficulty in certain asanas from the 1st and 2ed series will find this course beneficial. This Course help to set longer for meditation.
BACK BENDING COURSE: in thispractice back become flexible and Strong, to sit for meditation. Practice includes Back Bending Asanas from the beginning to advance. Starts with simple back bending Asanas like Ardha Chakrasana, Setubandasana, Urdhva Dhanurasana, Shalabasana, A,B & C, Bekasana, Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Ustrasana, Laguvajrasana, Kapotasana, Ekapada Rajakapotasana, and continues till Rajakapotasana, Poorna Shalabhasana, GandaBherundasana etc. The practice will be with the complimentary practice like twisting, forward bending, Balancing Asanas, and breathing techniques.
The classes are conducted in small groups, individual attention being the priority.
HIP-OPENING COURSE: In this People finding difficult to do asanas like Utthita hasta Padangudtasana, Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana, Virabhadrasana, Trianga Mukhaikapada Paschimottanasana, Marichyasana, A, B, C, & D. Bhujapidasana, Kurmasana, Supta Kurmasana, Garbapindasana, Kukkutasana, BaddaKonasana, Upavishta Konasana, Supta Padangustasana, A, B, & C, Padmasana, Pashasana, Krounchasana, Ardha Matsyendrasasa, Eka Pada Sirshasana, Dwi Pada Sirshasana, Yoga Nidrasana, Tittibasana, Vatayanasana, Etc.. we will help the Students Get this kind of asanas. Through Connected practice from Varies simple other asanas. During course the course students will work with one Direction with the help of other aspect.
PRANAYAMA COURSE: The teaching in this course will be from basic to advanced pranayamas and practice of Basic pranayama regularly.
The course duration is three weeks.
Everyday teaching is one hour.

At Yoga India is offered 5 times a year. The Course lasts for 6 weeks. (Entry only 12 people) For more information about dates please contact Yoga India via e-mail yogaindia@gmail.com
To join the course you are required to stay for the full 6 weeks. Classes will be given from Monday to Saturday.
The goal of the Teacher Training Course is to bring the future teachers in the position to teach beginners and intermediate students with knowledge and self-confidence.
The TTC is only for experienced or at least intermediate students.
The Teacher Training by Yoga India is divided into 7 parts. It is designed to meet the expectations of the Yoga Alliance.
The 7 parts are:
Technique, includes the training and practice of: asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, and meditation.
Teaching:includes the training and teaching of demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher and the student's process of learning.
Anatomy and Physiology: includes the study of physical anatomy, the skeleton, organs and muscles, cardiovascular system, Pancha Kosha & nutrition.
Philosophy and Ethics: this part includes the study of yoga scriptures, ethics for yoga teachers, life of a yogi.
Practicum:In these hours the students have to observe and assist classes lead by the main teacher and also teach by themselves.
Karma Yoga: : the students have to help to run the Yoga-school. Includes office work, organization and public relations.
Self-practice:study of books and discussion and practice of all above mentioned topics in a group

Bharath Kumar Shetty Handakunda originally came from a village next to Udupi situated on the coast of Karnataka.
Bharath was first inspired to yoga to heal his suffering from conical asthma attacks. After practicing yoga for sometime, the asthma attacks disappeared.
Bharath started practicing yoga in Shanthivana Trust, Yoga and Naturopathy Center. Since 1993 he has been practicing Iyenger yoga, and was trained under the guidance of B.K.S Iyengar, one of the most inspiring and revolutionary teachers in the 21st century.
Today he is a certified teacher from the Indian Yoga Institute, Vivekananda Kendra (A-Grade), and International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center (Grade-Excellent).
Bharath was the winner of the 1998 and 2001 Himalaya yoga Olympiad (India's National Yoga Championship) in Haridwar (U.P.) and Bangalore (Karnataka).
After practicing for a long time he opened "Creative Yoga Center" in Bangalore in 1998, and started teaching yoga as a profession. He taught over two thousand people in his studio and in Companies like Oracle Technology, ANZ Information Technology and more.
