Ana has been practicing yoga since the 1970's and was first exposed to yoga in 1951 when her father began his yoga practice to heal a lung condition.
Her orientation towards yoga is as a healing tool for the mind, emotions, breath and body, which, of course are included in one system and which profoundly affect each other. The eight limbs are all made available and Patanjali's Yoga Sutra is followed, to develop our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Yoga is for making our lives healthier, happier and more joyful, which is no small thing!
