Teacher Profiles
Carole Gorman-Swift Carole is an experienced dance and exercise instructor with over 35 years expereince. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance from West Chester University, a Masters of Education in Dance from Temple University and is 200 Hour certified Yoga Teacher. Locally, Carole has taught dance at Cherry Hill East and Haddonfield Memorial High Schools and was the previous owner and director of Dance Beat Dance Studio of Haddonfield, NJ for twenty years. “As a lifelong dancer and exerciser the high quality of instruction within PC2’s Pilates classes has enabled me to regain and maintain my strength and flexibility.” Carole is pleased to continue teaching her love of “mindful movement” through Yoga.
Lora Spector Lora started her study of yoga 9 years ago as a way of managing the physical and mental stresses of business ownership and motherhood. Integrating yoga into her life helped her find serenity, joy, and a sense of balance in an otherwise hectic world. Having experienced the benefits of yoga, Lora decided to leave the corporate environment and dedicate her time to advancing her hatha yoga practice and sharing her passion for yoga with others. Lora is a current member of HITA, the Himalayan Institute Teacher Association. Lora's classes will be comprehensive yet basic focusing on the student new to yoga.
Meg Zirm A classically trained ballet dancer, Meg has translated her love of movement into Classical Yoga and Pilates. Introduced to yoga in high school, Meg has continued her practice for over 10 years. As her practice deepened she decided to venture off the corporate path in human resources and enrolled in YogaLife Institute’s 200 hour teacher training certification program with Dr. Bob Butera in Devon, PA. Meg was certified to teach Reformer 1 Pilates in 2009 thru Balanced Body University at PC2. When not teaching or practicing yoga, ballet or Pilates she enjoys traveling, photography, gardening and spending time outdoors.
Melanie Levin Melanie first came to yoga in 1998 as a way to relieve the stress of studying for the bar exam, and has been a student of yoga ever since. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at the Yoga Center of Medford in 2008 and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Of all the lessons learned while on the mat, mindfulness, compassion, and joy are the ones she practices most in her role as a teacher, attorney, mother, wife, and human being. She lives in Moorestown with her husband and two daughters, who like to make up poses and teach them to her.
Michele Bozzini Michele Bozzini was first introduced to Pilates in 1987 while working as a professional dancer. Its form and discipline instantly resonated with her. She has been practicing or studying Pilates to some degree ever since and recently became a certified instructor. Michele is also an award winning choreographer...her knowledge of the body in motion as well as her disciplined self studies enrich her classes. She is a dedicated teacher who encourages each of her students to realize their own potential while managing to balance hard work with fun!
Sylvia Byrd-Leitner Sylvia Byrd-Leitner's experience in body work is extensive. She has a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Temple University, and has had the pleasure of dancing, performing, and teaching nationally. She brings to her yoga and Pilates practice an acute awareness of form and body in motion. Sylvia is a certified Pilates and yoga instructor, a member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), and a faculty member of Balanced Body University.
