Lea Kraemer is a former professional dancer and choreographer who founded PRANA MANDIR Yoga in 2003 after teaching for about two decades. Lea works with students to refine and personalize their Yoga practice. She is a sought after for teacher for private healing sessions and Yoga therapy. In her own training, she studied extensively with living masters of Yoga. Since 1990, Lea has practiced the Kundalini system as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Her belief that Kundalini Yoga is gem-like system encompassing all aspects of Yoga fueled her enthusiasm to study Asana, Pranayama, Vinyasa, Meditation, philosophy, and anatomy. She has traveled far and wide for teachings, including to Mysore, India to practice Ashtanga with Pattabhi Jois, and to Dharamsala, India to study Tibetan Buddhist spiritual teachings. Lea is steeped in the Yoga and Meditation traditions taught by her own Guru. She has directed her self-studies since 1992 to be able to assist clients with chronic and life threatening illness.
Through PRANA MANDIR, Lea promotes community service with Yoga classes at wellness centers and area hospitals. Services are part of an outreach program and often involve research in the application and effects of Yoga.
