Iyengar yoga practitioners and teachers for very many years, June and her husband Christian Pisano co-direct a fully equipped Iyengar Yoga studio in Nice, the Côte d'Azur, in the south of France. June holds a Senior teachers' certificate and Christian, an Advanced teachers' certificate in the Iyengar system. They both study and work annually with the Iyengar family in Pune.
