Lighten Up Yoga Center, founded by Lillah Schwartz, E-RYT, is now celebrating it's 28th year and has been serving the Asheville community since 1981. Our clientele include students ages 18-80 from diverse backgrounds, yoga beginners, yoga enthusiasts and those seeking Yoga Alliance Registration through in depth yoga training. Based in the Iyengar Method, our classes are safe for beginners, yet challenging for students of all levels. Private sessions, teacher training, workshops and seminars - please see our calendar of events on our web site.

In October 2007, Lillah received the “Recreation Leader of the Year” award from the Asheville Mayors Committee for Citizens with Disabilities for her Yoga for MS classes.
